Summary of the story

An epidemic of an unknown complaint that gives children in Phanom Nakha strange snake- suchlike scales leadsDr. Benedict to probe the miracle. Asia, a medical illustrator, is chosen to help him with this. Along the way, the two meet Phumkhaobin, a lively but mysterious man and youngish family to Asia's friend Pheka. When joining the exploration, Asia could not have imagined that she'd not only meet mysterious Phumkhaobin but also come involved in the mysterious legend of a vill where people worship serpents.
